NIT KHAIR MANGA - A remake with the voice of late Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan

This remake by SY Production with vocalist Syed Ali and voice of the legendary Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahab, brings in a fresh breeze of music for all listeners to enjoy. Together with the awesome instrument Rubab by the norwegian-pakistani rubab player Islam Umar, this new track is a perfect fusion between the old style of qawwali and modern pop music. The producer MakeTheNoises did not spare using several instruments in the song and added sitar by the great sitar player Mahesh Pathmakumara.

The song starts with some breathtaking alaaps by Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and follows the same tempo and note as the original qawwali. The ending takes you into a sufi trance, as if your standing on top of the world ready to fly to the unknown space. It is a true attempt by Syed Ali and the SY Production team to highlight some musical and instrumental elements throughout the song that normally does not get that much attention.
